It's time to Get It Together !
Getting it together is about taking stock. You can have the best intentions in the world, but it's all about delivery in the end and delivery has a lot to do with the quality of the foundations on which you're building your business. If they're not strong, you're business won't stand up.
To achieve WOW outcomes an organization must commit to getting great people on board and then leveraging their talent. That takes great cultural dynamics. You need your people to be with you all the way. If they're not then it really doesn't matter what else you do, how much you spend, who you promote, how clever you are, how good your idea is or how much money you have. Eventually, its not going to work! Engagement...it's a biggie!
Tom Peters challenges companies with a recent Gallup pole:
" The research shows that 55% of employees are effectively "tuned out." Of the remainder, 19% are actively at work sabotaging their company, and 26% support their companies goals and practices. Conventional wisdom says: Focus on getting more productivity out of the 26 percent. However, I'd contend that the 55 percent typically have damn good reasons for being tuned out. And the group that interests me the most is the 19 percent who are.....active saboteurs. At least they give enough of a damn to do....something. They are your saviours in waiting."
So let's rewind and look at what Hothouse has done for you by this stage in the process. Your talent is sorted, onboard, connected and engaged.
